I have zero data (that's cool) on him.
What was his % of floaters taken last year? 5% of his shots? What was his conversion rate?
I think the nba may take so many more (on a % basis) because the nba o is so focused on keeping the paint clear. So that guys like Brunson and SGA can get into the paint, draw the d, pass or shoot.
I don't see cbb offenses as focused on that.
Certainly not Cronin's o.
So it should be pretty fascinating to see how things play out.
Personally, I don't think the floater is a very high % shot. It's beautiful when it goes in. They make for great highlight footage. But they need to come in the context of a spread offense. If TB or Dailey etc are posting up and here comes Donovan...I don't think that will mesh well.
