The refs were calling the game VERY tightly, and that didn't play out to our benefit. They shot 15 more free throws than we did, and we still won by 30.
What did help us was holding them to 32% shooting and out-rebounding them by 51-29.
Dent played the entire first half, and sat the second half. He was basically unstoppable. He could get into the lane any time he wanted to and he rarely missed from there. I got the feeling he could have scored 40 if he played more and he wanted to.
Don't forget 8 assists and 1 turnover.
If Dent's pentration leads to Bilodeau being left open at the three-point line, Tyler could have a monster year.
Skyy had 13 points in 16 minutes on 6 of 10 shooting. That's on a night where he wasn't hitting his threes. Add 3 assists and a steal. He's going to have a terrific year.
Jamar is a perfect Cronin player. Ten rebounds. Also 13 points including 3 of 6 from the arc, but TEN FREAKING REBOUNDS!
I seem to have been more impressed by Booker than some other folks. He played pretty good defense, but what I really liked was his offense. He not only hit three-pointers, but he scored on some nice moves around the basket. If he can give us 14 points and 6 rebounds on 17 minutes for the whole season, we can go far. He just needs to cut down on the turnovers.
I also liked what I saw from Brandon Williams. He has transformed his body and he seemed comfortable in his role out there. If he can rebound and score a bit, he will contribute.
It's just one exhibition game, but there was a LOT to like.
