They're better with Dent but still not very good. I know it's early and all teams improve and Cronin's teams improve a lot, but this doesn't look to me like that kind of situation. They just don't look very good.
The pieces, on paper, look good to very good, but the collective effort and results just don't mesh into anything that resembles a good team with many new members trying to learn how to pay together and for some learning new roles under a new coach and a new system. Collectively they look limited in so many ways that it seems almost impossible to remedy everything enough to bring them anywhere near the generally lofty prognostications this team has received.
I hope I'm wrong but right now it looks like it's going to be a long and miserable season.
