love the line about Eeyore! Not be so so but a key failing to this point is coming out firing on all cylinders. Energy. Defending the three point line means coming out with energy and running offensive players off the line. Tracy Murray keeps repeating that a team should show that energy and attack on defense and take it to the offense right from the start so they can't get comfortable just working the ball around outside and taking good look wide open shots in rhythm time after time.
You do that from the start of a game.
We don't get around to it until maybe half way through the games we've played.
If we do, we take a deep breath later on and ease up into our primary mentality and the opponent - SDSU - can come back and get rolling against us later in the game.
Is it motivation? Is it toughness? Is it just energy and learning to play together?
Sure hope it's the answer and all us Eeyore wannabes can be proven wrong.
