If anyone will make us elite, it will be him. Retaining Mara's services would have surely been a good thing, but I genuinely think Dent adds more value to this team.

I was ok with what I saw last night (saw it from row A at Pauley Pavilion)...really happy with Booker and Jamar Brown. The game has slowed down for Trent Perry, and he will be a difference maker this year.

Overall, team is still very rusty, not playing Cronin ball yet - too many turnovers and swiss cheese defense. That will be allowed to continue over Cronin's dead body.

I don't expect to beat Arizona on Friday, but I do expect us to be competing for anywhere from a 2 to a 4 seed in the tourney. Let's see how it shakes out - it's not even mid-November yet.
