We tightened up and UNC went on a run to close out the quarter, leading by 5 after one. 17-12. They are out-rebounding us by three. We're still shooting a bit better but their hustl and quickness is causing us problems.
We beat Oklahoma on talent. The Sooner HC said post-game that her team would be pretty good, would improve, but that UCLA was already a finished product. So clearly is UNC and perhaps more finished than we are. Aanrnsalo has 8 points for UNC - was sorry to see her leave us after last season but we've come out strong to start Q2 and tied the game back up in the first minute of Q2
This is a great match up for us, is going to make us better. Still no sign of either Gardiner or Sienna Betts
