So well said, Cachorro! Agree with you on all counts. Lauren, Kiki, Gianna, Charlisse - those are really great players. But can't believe any other team out there has two players like our Swiss Army knives, not only Gabriela Jaquez but also Angela Dugalic! Two players who do absolutely everything on the court.
That point in the second half when Cori had both Lauren and Angela on the court together I was almost feeling sorry for UNC. And Gabi - along with Kiki - is the heart and soul of this team.As Cori has said on numerous occasions, no matter what it is you want or need, Gabi does it for you - scoring, rebounding, assists, defense.
From the moment after her very first game ever as a Bruin, when she exited the court by walking through the men's team which was warming up for their game that same night and gave her brother Jaime a leaping chest bump - how could you not love that kid? David Singleton was the best but Gabi is every bit also the perfect Bruin!
