her hug many of her former teammates. She also embraced a lot of the support staff. And when Close mentioned her during the post-game interview, which was played on the video screen above the court, the crowd gave her a standing ovation. I don't think any of that was shown on TV.
She also received her Final Four ring from UCLA tonight, along with some other memorabilia.
Clearly, it was an emotional night for her. I doubt anyone here knows the full story of what transpired between the end of last season and tonight's game.
I'm inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt. Close certainly wishes her no ill will. She's a great player and is getting the time and attention at Tennesee that she couldn't get at UCLA. I hope only good finds her from here on out, unless the Volunteers play the Bruins in the NCAA tournament.
