Not sure if the narrative fits the reality. After the 4 minute break, our possessions were:
18 seconds (Dailey miss)
14 seconds (Bilodeau miss)
2 seconds (Bilodeau make off the Jamerson rebound)
32 seconds (Dailey drew the foul and missed both FTs)
22 seconds (Williams miss)
24 seconds (Brown miss)
22 seconds (Clark gets fouled, makes both FTs)
4 seconds (Dent gets fouled, makes 1 of 2)
The longest possession was 32 seconds, and was the ideal outcome - FTs, but Dailey clanked them. Otherwise, you could argue that we were shooting TOO quickly.
Washington's comeback was fueled by a few VERY short possessions on their part that led to a 2, 3 or FTs. That's where the breakdown on our part really occurred.
Our issue on offense was the three missed FTs (Dailey's really were the killer) and not having the right people shooting the ball on a couple of late possessions - you want Clark, Dent or Bilodeau with the ball, given the way the game had played out.
Glad we escaped.
