as in the old Chinese curse: 'may you live in interesting times.' Interesting doesn't mean "good," it means complicated. Very complicated.

It's going to remain that way for at least another month, probably longer than that.

Can we reach our potential? What the heck IS our potential, anyway?

No way of knowing and, as a number of us always say, progress is not linear. Watching the steps along the way can be painful and is often frustrating but it's always interesting. The interest with the women's team is pretty much watching Sienna Betts enter the arena of college ball and prepare herself to be at her best by Tournament time and also the progress on both a pressing defense and ball sharing offense to a bunch of players who are all really outstanding. It's great fun but happily not as "interesting" as we find with the men.

Will Eric Dailey Jr return to form? Can Jamerson stay on the court without fouling? Can Booker really play center? Can Donovan Dent increase his assists and decrease his turnovers, continue his one game shooting streak. And can he get the team to play team offense (as opposed to Dent offense) and do better in the stats with him on the court than when he sits? (All our key runs vs our previous opponent came when he sat. Weird stat - he clearly had a better game but it didn't play out the way in the game stats. Already discussed thoroughly by many of us; question is molding a team offense - movement, sharing, finding/creating the best shot each possession.

Such an interesting team, mh.... (P.S. think I'm getting too old for this [stuff])....
