Mara is 4th in team in mpg at 22. Lendeborg, the best player in the country, leads the team in mpg at 26. Michigan has the luxury of resting their starters for major stretches because they are annihilating their opponents my 30+ on a regular basis. They also have a deep team and May is trying to spread the minutes. Mara’s 22 is in no way indicative of how many minutes he can and will contribute if games are tighter.
