I love the offense. So much more movement.
I like the running, I feel like if we keep running, we should get better at it as the season goes on. And, it already looks like it's improving. That said, I don't like 16 TO's.
Defense is continuing to improve - we did a job on their star.
Sienna is coming around. She's looking smooth around the hoop. I'd prefer that she pass up the midrange and 3 point shots. There's no reason for her to take those unless the clock is running down. She took 2 threes. Why? A really nice thing about Sienna's game tonight - she pulled down 5 offensive boards. Highest in the game. The Huskers had 7 Offensive boards as a team. With no one grabbing more than one.
I watched the LSU-Tex game. I think we still need to ramp up our defensive intensity. That game was played at an insane level of intensity. LSU took Lee out of the game (who is an excellent player). Harmon sat the whole 4th qtr because she wasn't effective against Fulwiley. Booker picked up 2 early fouls and sat for almost all of the 2nd quarter - that helped LSU tremendously. Coach Close has got to keep hammering the the need for defensive intensity. Neither
As others are discussing, that was a good result for us.
