Several of the players seem to digress rather than progress. All based on the eye test. (Hence, the eye pain). Can’t back up with stats.

Personally, I have been disappointed with Donovan Dent’s performance so far. He definitely is a smooth cat and has great guard skills. He is very confident driving to the hoop or making the midrange jumper. I think his 3-point shot can be more consistent. But DD has not played well consistently. Not like Skyy. Skyy seems to be consistently good. DD still has this lackadaisical style to him. I have seen him bounce the ball off of his foot when making crossovers behind his back. He always seems to be looking for a foul call. He does not have that killer instinct right now.

Jamar Brown is a little bipolar right now. Sometimes, he is great, sometimes he is inconsequential. I like his defense and his 3-point shots, when they are going great. But need consistency once on the floor.

Same for Xavier Booker. Not sure if he is having inner battles, whether to be a center or a stretch 4? Not sure what Coach Mick is telling him to be?

The positives for me are Tyler Bilodeau, Tyler Perry (I love his upward trajectory right now), EDJ (wish he is more consistent, though), and Jamerson II (he needs to work on his footwork on rebounds, though. His legs seem to always be twisted into each other like an X when he comes down from a rebound. He needs to land with his feet spread out stably so he doesn’t lose his balance, not get the ball stolen, and is able to toss the outlet pass efficiently.

Oh, and Skyy Clark is a definite positive. I’d say he is our most consistent player. I do hope he returns ASAP.

And our 3-point shooting is freakin’ horrendous! Weren’t we 1 out 1,000 vs Iowa?

AND THE FREE THROWS!!! HOW CAN WE BE MISSING ALL THOSE FREE THROWS? ALL FREE POINTS THAT WE LEAVE ON THE TABLE.

Not sure if it is coaching, players not listening to right coaching, or players unable to execute what Coach Mick wants them to do.

Also, I am not a fan of Coach Mick calling plays from the sideline. Like he is playing chess and moving pieces on the court. I prefer the players know what to do rather than being instructed in real-time. What if the crowd is too loud and the players cannot hear the Coach? Unless Coach doesn’t always do this? Anyway, not a fan of calling plays from the sideline in real-time.

Let’s go, Bruins! Let’s get on a win streak starting at Penn State this Wednesday!
