take on Book…I will add several observations…it seems like Booker turns and looks for someone to block out when the shot turns up…and block out is what he is taught to do but he is far too (mentally) slow. The turn and look takes him out of almost every rebound in that he either misses his block out or looks away from the flight of the ball and is too slow to recover. In other words blocking out should be a feel issue, if you have to turn your head to look you are out of most plays. Finally, it may be just my opinion but, rebounding is simply about being in the correction position and going and getting the ball. Book is almost never in correct position and simply does not go after the ball. Most of his rebounds have simply fallen into his hands … call them flukes.
