than it was in the past. But I respect your opinion and I enjoyed reading your post as it brought back memories of players I used to follow, back in the day.
But I'm not the only one who believes the Big 10 plays a physical brand of ball, many coaches feel the same way. I watch all of Michigan's and UCLA's conference games and most of the other teams in the league a few times. Lots of hard contact intermittently going on and some called and some isn't. But it's certainly not a "non contact" game even though it is theoretically supposed to be.
However, we all see things differently and often come to different conclusions based on our unique experiences in the game as ex players, coaches or fans. That's what makes these kinds of forums interesting. If everyone had the same opinions, it would be pretty boring.
