....in this scenario you mention, which is:

The way I look at it, physicality shows up when a player is able to use his strength to gain an advantage over a weaker opponent. A good example is our rebounding issues. It’s not that our guys aren’t boxing out; it’s that they can’t hold their position once they do. Time and again, you’ll see our bigs get walked under the basket. As a result, they’re out of position, and the stronger player doesn’t need to go over the back, he simply goes straight up. There’s nothing our guys can do but watch.

The *smart* players in CBB, with *smart* coaches, teach their guys this: "once you have inside position and establish your base, if the guy you're boxing out applies ANY pressure on your back, you FLY out of bounds like you're SHOT out of a CANNON!

I mean, I want you landing in the cheerleader pile....and what you do there, I don't care. But you EURO the SHIIT out of the situation, and you get me that motherfvcking foul call. If you can't make Manu Gnosebleed blush, you can't play for me. Understood?"

And that acting job does NOT take strenfff. It takes timing, coordination and skill. The exact skills that bball is based upon. (And Oscar-level facial expressions.)
