Yeah, I think that’s sound advice, but I don’t see it working long term. As I mentioned, officials allow a certain level of contact. Dislodging a player from his position is common practice and generally permitted. What you’re describing—pushing someone out—isn’t allowed, so if it’s obvious or deliberate enough, it might draw a whistle. But even then, it won’t be called every time down the court. In fact, it’s just as likely—if not more so—to result in a flopping call, which would be disastrous given that it’s a technical foul and a loss of possession.
