The nice thing about a 76 team tournament is that it lowers the bar enough to give a Mick Cronin-coached team a chance every year. He's missed the tourney many times in his career, and he came close this past season. So expanding the field should make us all sleep better at night. Even Cronin can probably be among those 76 teams most years. Probably.
