My opinion is that the current roster with no additions

would be a pretty good team but not among in the top 4 in the Big 10. Probably have the potential to win 20 to 24 games, depending on what their schedule looks like. I'd guess they wouldn't be rated in the top 25 teams though.

I believe the 5 returning players should be improved over last season and that certainly would be a plus. The two players I really like in their additions are Jovic and Petty. Both could be starters at some point. Robinson also has good potential. Don't know anything about the two freshmen HS recruits. In addition, I don't know much about the other guy from Miss State. But from his videos, he seems destined to be a work in progress backup at the PF position. However, IMO, without adding a star power wing or center (perferably both), they just aren't quite a team that could compete for the Big 10 championship or one to go far in the NCAA, IMO.

But this is just speculation at best as you just never know how the players will improve as the season progresses (paticularly 3 point shooting and on the defensive end) and how they fit in and respond to the style of play Cronin coaches. As a long time Bruin fan, I'm still hopefull though and will continue to root for them regardless of how the team evolves.
