Which coaches were reportedly grumbling? I haven't seen any reports with coaches names or anything about coaches grumbling. Who are they? But there is a lot of stuff on the internet and I certainly haven't seen all of it and could have missed something. No doubt that with all of the various coaches out there with various personalities and methods of operation, anything is possible.
However, my intent is not to defend Michigan (UCLA is my team) but for my Michigan wife's peace of mind, I'm trying to get to the truth. My experience in the game and other professional organizations (Aerospace Engineering) I've been involved in, I do understand that with all organizations, taking advantage of the system is certainly possible for individuals or groups of individuals. But I don't believe anyone or any organization should be denigrated based on unverified information or rumors or reports coming from any of the many internet sites where rumors and opinions dictate much of the output. If I read or hear of a particular Big 10 coach being named as one complaining and having some evidence of "tampering", then the rumors will have some basis as far as I am concerned. That's all I'm looking for but so far, I haven't found anything that could be classified as facts or evidence.
