I agree that things will eventually stabilize. It’s hard to imagine billionaires continuing to spend millions year after year without seeing the return they expected, especially when only one team can win a championship each season. At some point, they’re essentially spending enormous amounts of money for second place...or worse! Even billionaire owners in professional sports are reluctant to spend at extreme levels just to chase a title. There’s a reason they became billionaires in the first place, and consistently making poor financial decisions usually isn’t part of it.
