He will make a lot more money in college. In the NBA he will sit on the bench or play in the G League where they fly commericial and stay in mediocre hotels, while playing in empty arenas.
Also, next year's draft is much weaker.
TY may hate school and might want to be done with it.
He may be delusional about his chances of playing in the NBA. The combine may cure him of his delusions.
I doubt Cronin is dumb enough to wait all this time for someone who is unlikely to play in college. He seems to like his job.
If I were a wagering man, I would put my money on TY playing in Pauley next season.
