And Ucla is still #6 with Russell being radioactive to teams that want to win? I'm surprised Peyton Watson isn't on the list for Ucla (or at least mentioned).

Speaking of Peyton, I saw this video on YT about a baller who played on an AAU team with Naz Reid, future sixth man of the year.

One of the lessons our baller learned from playing with Naz is "you're playing for the future". Not to win the current game. To get practice in real games trying crazy ish so that when you get to the nba you can actually pull it off.

Think about all the crazy times that kobe (or russ) tried crazy things that completely blew up in their face and hurt the team. They were playing for the future. THEIR future. F the current team. And the coach, for that matter.

Which brings us to Cronin. Putting myself in cronin's shoes... the thought of a kid going rogue at the wrong time... and is there ever a right time?... would make my blood boil.

I can understand that Cronin doesn't want a "selfish" player on the team who is going to prioritize his own development over the good of the team.
