Cronin had 4 7-footers (or near 7 feet) at Cincinnati...

7-0 290 Anthony McClain in 2008, 09, 10, and 11.
6-11 235 Ibrahima Thomas in 2010 and 11.
7-1 250 David Nyarsuk in 2013 and 14.
7-0 240 Nysier Brooks in 2017, 18, and 19.

Brooks was the most effective, becoming a starter in 2019, averaging 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. After Cronin left for UCLA, Brooks transferred to Miami (FL) and then Ole Miss.

Thomas transferred into Cincinnati from Oklahoma State and started 52 games, averaging 5.7 points and 5.3 rebounds across 2 seasons.

These were all 3-star recruits. Cincinnati rarely attracted even 4-star players, so it was always going to take time for them to develop, and some never did.

But the oft repeated claims that Cronin doesn't like 7-footers, never recruits them, and never plays them, are demonstrably false.

However, it may be true that "Cronin doesn't like 7'2" centers." As far as I can tell, no 7-2 center has ever played for Cronin.
