the play and call were not reviewable. They made the call, It was announced. The play was over. And you can't review it. But they changed it anyway. They allowed themselves to be intimidated by the crowd. Which sets a really bad precedent,
The targeting calls were interesting also. There were three plays in which possible targeting against Georgia came up.
The first one, they reviewed - I thought the UGA defender moved his head and hit the ball carrier's shoulder pad. The helmets to me hit a glancing blown on the side of each players helmet which the defender was focused on the runner's pad. But they reviewed it and confirmed the call of targeting.
The second one was an obvious targeting - Sarkesian ws pointing at his head to call attention to it - but that one they didn't review.
The third one they did review and again I thought it was questionable but they confirmed it and tossed the guy. To me it could have gone either way based on what the video showed.
Really oddly called game - think there are now six SEC teams with 6-1 records.
