This is an article that's taking bits and pieces from a reality show and people want their drama. If that's the case, is it really that bad if the guy's being honest? Just feels like you can't win if you're put in that situation. I really don't know much about Cousins, so I couldn't make a conclusion about him just based on this. He also said this, which seems to be overlooked.
"Certainly, if I had the information around free agency, it certainly would've affected my decision," Cousins said on the first episode of the season. "I had no reason to leave Minnesota with how much we loved it there if both teams are going to be drafting a quarterback high. But I've also learned in 12 years in this league that you're not entitled to anything. It's all about being able to earn your spot and prove yourself."
As far as Drew Brees, I'm more surprised he only got (1) SB win, although they really got screwed one year by the officials in a Playoff game that the Saints probably would have been in another SB. Me being a Dolphins fan, I wanted Brees back when they chose Culpepper over him. Dolphins never recovered from that, but the Saints gain. And I can tell from living in NO and Baton Rouge for a short period of time, Drew Brees was HUGE in the NO community and them recovering from the Hurricane. And I'm not talking about football. You may not care for him, but from what I've seen and the stories people have told me about him, he's one of the better people out there.
