although Nico reportedly makes about $1.2 million per year but not sure if that's pure NIL or combined with Rev Share. I would think it's more around $3 Million total for UCLA which puts it still 9x behind Texas Tech and other leading programs. Unfortunately for us, oil money dwarfs Hollywood/entertainment money. I also heard there was a rift between Men of Westwood and the newer Bruins for Life NIL collective so MoW now focuses on basketball.

Here are the answers from Google's AI search:

Texas Tech's total NIL spending across all sports for the 2025-26 year is projected to be around $55 million, which includes both direct revenue sharing from the university and funding from the donor-backed Matador Club collective.

The Matador Club alone has raised $63.3 million since its inception. In the 2025 offseason, the football program's NIL expenses for new transfers were reported to be around $28 million.

Breakdown of Texas Tech's NIL Spending:
Total for 2025-26: Approximately $55 million for all sports.
Direct Revenue Sharing: The university is sharing up to $20.5 million annually from revenue, a benefit from the recent NCAA House settlement.

Matador Club: A significant portion of the funding comes from this donor collective, which has raised $63.3 million to date.

Football Specific Spending: The football program's spending in the 2025 offseason for transfers was estimated to be about $28 million, making it one of the highest-spending rosters in the nation.

--------

UCLA's new football-specific NIL fund, Bruins for Life, has already raised over $1 million as of October 2024. This is separate from the overall NIL funds, which will involve a $20.5 million annual revenue-sharing pool from the NCAA House Settlement beginning in the 2025-2026 academic year, with the football program expected to receive the largest share of that money.

Bruins for Life: This is UCLA's NIL collective dedicated solely to football.

Initial Fundraising: As of October 2024, Bruins for Life had raised over $1 million to support football athletes.

Larger NIL Context:
NCAA House Settlement: This settlement allows universities, including UCLA, to pay athletes directly from a new revenue-sharing pool, with an estimated annual cap of about $20.5 million for the school.

Football's Share: The football program is expected to receive the largest portion of this overall revenue-sharing money, potentially around $13 million annually under the new Big Ten conference model.
