Not sure why you're talking about coaches now. You seem to have the laker "I'm right" complex. It doesn't take any skill to go down a list of FCS coaches and see who's succeeding.
And, Nico did not really replace Martin. Joey Aguilar did. Nico then replaced Aguilar. Was it stupid to bring in Aguilar? If your point is that the season was hopeless anyway, why not just play anyone at QB? Because Martin didn't go to Maryland for free.
I really don't understand your point. Would UCLA be better off with Martin at QB? If not, what does it matter? The money for Nico, which was probably not much more than they had already earmarked for Aguilar, just came from some donor's pocket. The school didn't pay anything.
But like I said, I can't wait to see how Martin's career turns out, and if your claim that he is a good QB turns out to be true.
