He came in talking about how UCLA had been soft (a lot of truth there) and wanted to have a tough, physical identity for his program.
He kind of pulled it off except for the yearly reminder from Stanford (who actually was a tough, physical program) that we were pretenders in that regard. Instead, what we were was aggressive but undisciplined.
Mora went 0-7 against Stanford, and most of those were blowouts where they pulled our pants down and basically beat us into the dirt. And he never even faced the Andrew Luck teams. I can still see them running like 3 plays over and over again and the modestly talented Kevin Hogan looking like Joe Montana.
