The cowbells used by the Miss St fans are truely horrible. Every one of the people in our house watching game found them REALLY annoying.
I think shouting, clapping, stomping are all great. Other noise makers are not.
I think props are not part of being a fan. I think props used to distract free throw shooters, for example, should not be allowed. Way your arms and make noise. The rest of the stuff doesn't feel like part of the game to me.
I can't believe the SEC was dumb enough to allow cowbells at MSU games. Not every tradition is a good one.
