Here at Blame Game Report Online, were ultra quick to point the finger, middle and otherwise.

The media's pessimism and propensity to pour poison in the fans' ears is never commented upon. Misrepresentations abound and are never challenged, much less corrected. For example, it is flogged endlessly that "asu played a tight end at qb!" in its 2023 win, implying that asu played a tight end at qb for the entire game.
But the reality, is that asu used a wild cat formation with a TE getting a direct snap for only a relatively few plays. They also did it with skatteboo...a future nfl draftee. Sounds like good, creative scheming on o!
But yes, virgins, asu did indeed play a qb at qb and threw the ball a number of times. They used the swinging gate formation because their ol was decimated with injuries and their coach decided that asu would not be able to block latu et al
The media also never mention that Ucla played a "qb" who couldn't throw at qb. Why? Because the QBs who could throw were both injured.
Ucla had 3 winning seasons in 21, 22 and 23. But you'd never know it from what the media said.
