then you play tomorrow, that's 5 games and you can't redshirt.
If you've played in games 1-3 for UCLA this season, didn't play in games 4 and 5 but play in game 6 and that's it for the season, you only played in 4 games so you can redshirt this season. And if you played in only 4 regular season games and a bowl game (doesn't apply to us...) you could still redshirt this season.

Four-Game Rule: Under current NCAA rules, a Division I football player can participate in up to four games in a season and still be eligible to take a redshirt for that season, preserving their overall eligibility for a fifth year.
Postseason Play: The four-game limit for redshirt eligibility applies to regular-season games; playing in a conference championship game, a bowl game, or any other postseason competition does not count against a redshirted player's eligibility.
