You don't grow talent from game to game. You got what you got.
You can put players in their best position to succeed, hide weaknesses, exploit matchups. Sunseri made these guys look like sh!t. The New Mexico game is Exhibit A. No way are these players that untalented.
Predictable play-calling, running plays not suited to your personnel, and not properly scheming against your opponent makes your players look like sh!t.
Also, no doubt UCLA just got up more to play Penn St. That's part of it, too.
