Note: NOT in any way minimizing our win; it was a very solid performance, great to see, and gives some hope for the rest of the season. BUT - Penn State has still not defeated a P4 opponent this year, and its wins (all at home) were against an FCS team (Villanova), a G5 team that's winless against FBS oponents (Nevada), and another G5 team that just got throttled by UConn (Fla Int'l). Objectively, their only impressive performance so far this year was taking Oregon to OT.
Who knows, maybe they blow out Northwestern this weekend and get back on track. But if I was a betting person, I would take the points.
