Both are spoiled rotten. The uneducated faithful in Columbus after the Michigan loss last season wanted to run Ryan Day out of town on a rail.

Ohio State's toughest game in the playoffs last season was Texas. Not even close. And, now they want to fire Sarkisian?!

The Longhorns were behind the 8 ball before the 2025 season even began. The expectations, with a freshman at QB, were not realistic. But, using logic is not one of the strengths of the football media these days and the fans in Austin and Columbus. And, calling Manning the favorite to win the Heisman before a down was even played was absurd, totally absurd. And totally unfair to Arch Manning.

If Manning can keep his head screwed on straight I suspect he might develop into a very good, perhaps even great QB with time. But, then the other day I saw Manning in a Warby Parker commerical. To me, that's a little troubling. It's not like the kid needs the money. Let's hope his primary focus remains with the vehicle that made Manning a household name again in college football.

As for Steve Sarkisian, even if he's available after this season (and I don't see that happening) I don't see him ever landing in Westwood. For one huge reason: $$$.
