Has been working closely with Sofi for years on various projects and probably made some inquires, perhaps informally at first, on UCLA's behalf to determine if UCLA moving to Sofi could be a realistic option. While I am not necessarily a huge fan of Casey and the impact that him lording over UCLA athletics has had on the programs, he nonetheless is probably as familiar with the inner workings of anyone.
