I think Nevada and SDSU will be easy home games. SDSU's QB is bad and their defense seems very likely to regress. And I'd rather open at cal with a newbie head coach than open with Utah like we did this year.
One of the biggest differences is that we had two basically un-winnable games last year. Worse than that, they were games where we got beaten up and massacred, which really affected team morale.
I don't see that this year. Obviously at Oregon and at Michigan are very tough games, but we have a reasonable chance to compete at least.
It will be a disappointment if we finish worse than 7-5.
