So I'll spell it out for you.
1. The issue isn't that he had an affair, it's long been known that Casey can't keep his D in his pants. The issue is that he was spending time with notorious convicted underage sex traffickers and the nature of his email engagement strongly suggests that he was well-aware of the business that they were in.
2. Optics matter, and unless you are in the orbit of the orange dipsh!t, nothing is presently more pariah branding than having had an association with Jeffry Epstein.
3. And speaking of branding, that's the central issue here. Given the dependence that producing a successful Olympics has on sponsorship, the suggestion that sponsors of the LA Games may be feeling uneasy enough about being associated with anyone even remotely tied to Jeffry Epstein that they would pull out is a major potential problem. Given that there are still millions of yet to be released documents pertaining to the Epstein files that very well could contain further revelations about our dear Casey, and how quickly and unpredictably these things can unravel, it is hardly brash for Karen Bass to suggest that he should step down.
