I think Sahir West and the transfers can do a good job of solidifying the DL BUT the OL is going to be the most important factor. It should be better, BUT, we could be starting as many as 4 transfers, and OL takes the longest for a new group to gel and play together - per the ATQ preview of UCLA I posted earlier, the numbers are pretty bad for teams starting an OL featuring more than 2 transfers, let alone 4.
On the good news side, some of that is guys who played for Chesney at JMU, and outside of Cal, the schedule is decent for possibly being able to win games while the OL is coming together.
OL coaching is going to be huge.
