I’m reminding myself that at the beginning of the season I’d have been very happy w 7-5. Reminding myself because my expectations are changing.
And if we finish 4-4, and end up 8-4, I want to keep in mind where I was when the season started. Finishing 4-4, I could see myself being disappointed. Reminding myself of 7-5 is me trying to keep it real.
We’ve got Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, and scum left. All of which are lose-able games. Will we lose all 5 of those games? No. But we could lose 4 and end up 8-4. I’m reminding myself to remain excited about that.
