OT: What is it with Jim Mora and DC's?

I think this really stands out this week for me, because one of the last times I was truly excited about Ucla playing a top tier team was one of Mora's years where we had Oregon at home. I really didn't know where Ucla stood nationally and that Oregon team was going to be a pretty good gauge at time and Ucla had a really good attendance for that game so felt like a home field advantage. The game ended up not being close, but the icing on the cake was the blowout on the sideline with Mora and his DC. While Mora is just a chapter in Ucla's life that I've moved on from, seeing this for some reason just didn't surprise me.

As far as this week really is concerned, it is going to be interesting because it is the first time in I don't know how many years where we are back into seeing where Ucla sits nationally. Does Ucla have to play way above themselves to be competitive? Or is Ucla at a point where they can compete with a top 10 type team? For years, it just felt like Ucla would have to be perfect and then the few things that just happen are penalties at the wrong times, giving up first downs on third and longs, and not being able to hold teams to FG's instead of TD's. This game is really going to be a really good reality check now.
