Wisconsin (4-1, 2-0) may have to go without senior center Austin Kawecki in Saturday’s clash at No. 12 UCLA (5-0, 3-0). According to the official injury report, Kawecki is listed as questionable against the Badgers.
Kawecki left the week five win over Michigan State and did not return. Head Coach Luke Fickell said Monday that Kawecki would be wearing a club on his hand this week.
Should Kawecki not be available, junior Ryan Cory would make his first career start.
After missing the win over the Spartans, senior running back Abu Sama is listed as probable, per the injury report. Fickell said he expects the Iowa State transfer to play. Sama has 190 rushing yards and a touchdown this season.
Senior wide receiver Jaylon Domingeaux is expected to make his 2026 season debut. The injury report lists Domingeaux as probable as well.
Sophomore tailback Nate Palmer is listed as doubtful. Junior cornerback Cai Bates has already been ruled out for the third consecutive game.
