The whole issue with ND not making the CFP last year was they weren't in a conference. If ND made the CFP, they didn't have to share a dime with anyone. Has that changed now? I never saw that they formed something with the ACC.
This is another frustration with CFB and why this has to all get reigned in at some point. I would assume the reason why the speculation that OSU and Michigan would go Independent is there would be no more money from a conference championship game, so they would be in this to pocket all the CFP money and not share with anyone. Then that leads to LSU, Alabama, and a few others doing the same thing?
