The leadership is not even trying. Just think about this: between the Doge shut downs and Ice raids and Epstein files, there were so many opportunities to grab the headlines, tell their own stories, and start redefining the narrative. And everytime it looked like someone in the party is beginning to exploit some opening, the leadership pulls them back.

It's like the Democratic Party's game plan right now is not only to wait for Republicans to make a mistake, but score some own goals too. It's lazy. It's gutless. It's political malpractice.

So yeah. My regard for the Democratic Party as a whole is very very very low at this point.
