If he wants to conduct mass deportation, fine. But line up potential workers to take over the field job before you get rid of the massive work force.
If he wants to tariff something, fine. Get the country set up to produce whatever they are tariff-ing before you start the trade war. This is like you go to war without any preparation. His snake oil car salesman buddy Howard Nut-Lick famously forgot US doesn't produce enough banana to supply the demand, before he starts tariff on foreign-import bananas.
