Kidney cancer basically from 2000 until now(Dates may be a little different) you can get into a class action lawsuit if you were in an area that had PFAS in the water. If you lived within 4 miles of an air force base, chances are pretty high you were affected.

You don't even have to pay a dime. Many attorneys are advertising to get people on board, and they will take 40% of the cut.

Whether you know someone or not, PFAS in our drinking water is a real problem.

This is from Oberheiden.

Previous Action Updates
August 15, 2025 – According to recent reports, PFAS can be found in up to 98% of U.S. waterways, and 99.7% of people tested near Cannon Air Force Base (AFB) have tested positive for having PFAS in their blood. These are extraordinarily high numbers that highlight the prevalence of PFAS in today’s world.

Lawsuits filed across the country are seeking to hold PFAS manufacturers accountable; and, as we discussed last week, DuPont and Chemours recently agreed to an $875 million settlement in a lawsuit involving allegations related to PFAS contamination. If you have questions about filing a lawsuit for PFAS exposure, we invite you to contact us for more information.

Update for August 22, 2025
As reported by Bloomberg Law, the first bellwether trial in the national PFAS multidistrict litigation (MDL) involving aqueous film-forming foam has been postponed, “until such time as the court deems appropriate.” This is due primarily to concerns that a large number of lawsuits have yet to be filed, and that a global settlement or a verdict in the litigation could fail to adequately compensate victims. The court has also established a deadline of September 5, 2025 for filing new claims in the MDL—so individuals who have been thinking about filing a lawsuit should contact a lawyer as soon as possible
