snatching people off the streets isn’t enough, it’s time to remind all Americans what this administration is doing. A short list includes:
- The cratering of our national economy (inflation has already begun, and moving forward, Trump’s policies will hurt a lot of Americans… unless the courts stop him)
- The dismantling of the FDA and the CDC, opening the door to disease and death from formerly-defeated nemeses (including measles, whooping cough, etc.), as well as new ones (how long before a new Ebola arises? It’s nearly a certainty, and we won’t be ready for it)
- The replacement of competent officials in the CIA, the Justice Department, and the FBI with lackeys who are clearly not qualified for their new positions. Most of these new appointments had no management experience of any significance, and in many cases they seem unfamiliar with their responsibilities. The Trump Administration has weaponized the law to punish Donald Trump’s enemies, which is clearly a Constitutional violation worthy of yet another impeachment.
- The attacks on many of our cherished institutions - including the press, the national media, academia, science & research…. and yes, even the law firms (though hardly beloved, our law firms serve an essential purpose)
- The highly-visible public corruption… the rambling, nearly incoherent speeches…. the lies and inconsistencies nearly every time he speaks…. and the sheer stupidity of the man that speaks for our country….
The point is this: It’s not just Trump, but the entire Republican Party that is responsible for what’s happening in our country.
I want all Americans - and especially the voters - to know that the GOP owns all of this.
