There is a, "Yes but" to this story. The companies that are doing well with AI are doing very well.

Both Facebook and Google who are moved their ad business to AI have had explosive growth in those areas.

From how I understand it, the companies that specialize in AI are doing well but for the most part companies that try to adapt it into their existing model are in large part failing.

Think of it as the internet boom. Most companies didn't know how to profit from the internet but those that did had explosive growth.

There will be an AI bubble just as there was a .com bubble because there will eventually be winners and losers determined by monopolies.

I've invested two different ways.

I've invested in Google/Facebook since they are the companies that are currently profiting from their AI investments.

I've invested in Uber, Apple, Netflix, Amazon, and Spotify because whomever wins the AI competition for the self driving car, AI driven Apps, or AI driven content editing, they will need an App to access the AI driven processing request.

I am more wary of picking which company will win the AI computation war.
