This is now the time for systems to do automated tasks without anyone really knowing what exactly is being done and how. Don't be surprised to find out that an automated system that's supposed to do one thing also turns out to do 14 other things with the data you've provided without the company having the slightest clue as to any of that stuff going one.
Whereas in the old days they would maliciously do those other things, but they would know that's what there doing, so you could pressure them in certain things to some extent.
It's called AI assisted coding.
