here in Huntington Beach, otherwise known as "Knucklehead Central."
There was a good turnout: the crowd ranged from 1st Street to the south, all the way up to 6th Street to the north. The crowd was thickest at the pier, of course. And there were lots of clever home-made signs - could anyone ever imagine such a target-rich environment as the Trump Administration?
At any rate, we received a lot of support from passing motorists. The only Trump supporters were scattered and in-effective. There was a Jesus guy at the foot of the pier, and part of the crowd was circling him and jeering him... I couldn't tell if he was a Trump supporter or not, his sign was about embracing God.
I feel encouraged at such a large turnout, at one of the most conservative cities in one of the most conservative counties in the state...
